Leads, or Sales Leads, allow you to record information about a prospective Project with less information required when compared to adding a new Project. This means you can start off with the basics and add more details over time.
Leads provide a sensible tool for keeping your prospective Project data in one place. As soon as you hear of any work that might come your way, or that you might want to pitch on – you should enter it in to the Leads module. Storing this data in iCFM rather than a 3rd party CRM system or spreadsheet allows you to utilise the data from within CETA.
You also won't need to re-enter information into another form if your Lead turns in to a real Project, as there is a one-click method to create a Project from your Lead.
To create a new Lead:
- Main Menu
- Click the green + icon next to Lead
- Complete the required fields in bold (you can come back and update this information at any time)
- Save
Please Note: A new Lead can also be added from the Lead Pipeline page or the Lead search page. The quickest method is clicking the green + icon next to Lead directly from the main menu.
