This update introduces several significant new features and improvements to iCFM, including a new Insights reporting tool, new project-level views, a redesigned Admin Options menu, and an updated Leads Pipeline. The new Morpheus AI Assistant is also included in this release and will be rolled out to clients soon - please get in touch if you have any questions about it.
CETA Insights
A new Insights reporting tool is now available from the main menu under Menu > Insights, providing new business intelligence reports covering financials, utilisation, billing and project performance. Each report includes built-in guidance, visual chart views, and a Data Quality tab to check your data is sufficient before relying on results.
Morpheus AI Assistant
Morpheus is a new AI-powered chat tool that connects iCFM to a third-party AI service of your choice. Once configured, it allows you to ask questions about your project data - including financials, scheduling, billing and resources - through a conversational interface. Your organisation connects its own AI account, meaning you remain in control of which service is used, how data is handled, and any associated costs. Morpheus is also available within the new Insights reporting tool, where a Discuss with Morpheus button appears on any open report.
Legacy Reports
Your existing reports remain fully accessible under Menu > Legacy Reports. These are scheduled for retirement in a future update - nothing has been switched off. Please note that Insights has been renamed to Legacy Insights 1, and Insight Reports to Legacy Insights 2, within this area. If there are reports you rely on regularly, please let us know so we can ensure the same information is available in Insights before they are retired.
Project-Level Report Updates
Several project-level reports have been updated with new Summary and Charts tabs, giving a more visual way to understand your project data alongside the existing Data tables. Updated reports include Margins and Bid Vs Actual (both under the Progress tab), and a new Project Resource Schedule report has been added under the Schedule tab.
Project Health Check
A new Project Health Check is available under the Reports tab within any project. Rather than a financial report, this is a project management tool that gives you an at-a-glance view of how well a project is being managed in iCFM, highlighting workflow gaps and suggesting next steps.
Admin Options Menu
The Admin Options menu has been redesigned with logical groupings, making it easier to find what you need. Each item now shows a small icon indicating whether it opens in the admin panel, the main page, or a new tab. Two new items have been added: Morpheus AI under Enhancements & Add-ons, and Contact Deduplicator under Maintenance & Tools.
Lead Pipeline
The Lead Pipeline kanban view has moved from the Dashboard to its own dedicated page under Menu > Lead Pipeline, with Phases from New Opportunity through to Gone Dark. Leads can be dragged between Phases to reflect their current status. You can add a new Lead directly from the Lead Pipeline page using the green + icon, or search for an existing Lead via Menu > Lead under Search. The Lead record has also been redesigned, with information organised into clearly labelled sections covering lead details, company and contacts, dates, financials and status - including recording potential Project team members and creating a Project once the Lead is ready to progress.
Permission Changes
Two new permissions have been added as part of this release: /morpheus-ai-chat, which enables Morpheus AI Chat for individually granted users (note that superuser does not grant this automatically), and /rpt-insights, which enables the Insights menu link. Several existing report-related permissions have also been renamed to reflect the new Legacy Insights naming, with no functional change.
