Add Holiday Types

There are several default holiday types that will be available when you start using the system, (Sick Leave, Vacation etc), but it is also possible to create custom holiday types.

  1. Main Menu > Admin Options > Combo Box Options
  2. From the Category drop down list, select Holiday
  3. Any current holiday types will appear in the second panel
  4. Enter the new holiday type into the Description field in the third panel (This is how it will appear in the Holiday & Shift Editor and on the schedule)
  5. If required, add Start and End times e.g. if you are adding a holiday type just for mornings you can set the times
  6. Select a Holiday Class to categorise this Holiday type and add duration (1 for whole day, 0.5 for full day)
  7. Click Save Class Data
  8. A small table will appear including the class data
  9. Click Save
  10. Your new holiday type will now be visible in the Holiday & Shift Editor
